Health Information Brochures

According to the ‘Universal Declaration of Human Rights’, issued by the United Nations (UN) in 1998, at the occasion of its 50th birthday, Article 26 specifies that ‘everyone has the right to education’, which ‘shall be free in its elementary and fundamental stages’.

Certainly, the right to get to know one’s own health status, how to protect it, and how to stay healthy, would fall under the heading of ‘elementary and fundamental’ knowledge of life.  Education is also the cornerstone of social and economic development of any country, setting the foundation for future well-being and prosperity.

It is for this purpose, that Medical Knowledge Institute (MKI) and Medicine for Africa (MfA – www.medicinemd.com) have joined forces, in order to develop and distribute ‘Medical Information Brochures’ (MIB) – the healthcare encyclopedia for everyone!  These brochures will be distributed at our Health Information Centres free-of-charge to any citizen, who seeks to obtain basic healthcare information.

Upon request, these brochures will also be available to governments, public or private companies, organizations and foundations, who seek to spread basic healthcare information among their citizens, employees or members.  Individually designed and personalized brochures can be obtained for a small fee that will ultimately promote the program by itself.

MKI invites all non-profit organizations that are involved in promoting basic healthcare information and/or education to the broad population of a country, to consider a cooperative venture with us, where we would supply our MIBs free-of-charge (in certain cases) or at cost, while your organization would distribute them to the recipients. Please feel free to contact us for details on this proposal – we are eager to hear from you, and certain that we can find ways to collaborate in an effective and productive manner.
